Shahtex is a family run circular knitting company based in Leicester manufacturing high quality weft knitted single and double jersey fabrics for over 30-years. Shahtex deliver both greige and finished fabrics and work with garment manufacturers and brands to create fabrics to their specifications.

A leading UK producer of seamless garments, the £2m knitting plant manufactures and supplies knitted fabrics for high profile clients across leisurewear, sportswear and lingerie markets. Shahtex has an In-house design team that enables flexible short and bulk run production.

In August 2021 Shahtex invested into circular seamless machines offering a wide range of products for women’s and menswear, including activewear, shapewear and underwear, plus expanding into medical compression wear.
