Nick Beighton, Ex-CEO ASOS, EX-CEO Matches Fashion, Chairman Secret Sales, Ecommerce/Digital Business Builder is a confirmed speaker on Leicester Made’s ‘Why Onshoring Works for People, Planet, and Profit’ panel.

When Nick was the CEO ASOS.com and he decreed that his aim was to make 4% of ASOS’s production in the UK – he meant it and delivered! Combined with the one and only Simon Platts, who was then the Ethical Sourcing Director, these were the golden days for quality factories in the UK for consumers.

Each week Fashion-Enter Ltd made 5,000 garments a week and had stability; FEL could plan, invest and grow. And we were just one factory that ensured ASOS was supplying the right on-trend merchandise.

Since leaving ASOS in 2021 Nick retains his prowess in e-commerce today and will be sharing his valuable insights on the panel as well as a key role in the CEO Roundtable with Secretary of State Liz Kendall.

With all that occurring in the U.S. we can make Manufacturing Great Again in the UK! There’s an untapped industry in Leicester that can provide garments within two weeks! Low minimum order quantities to keep inventory and risk minimised and all in ethical factories!

We already know of four major high street brands making in Leicester! Come along and find out more.
